Haha! Now I can make my own car w/o that noxious unbuckled seat belt alarm going off when I'm in a damned parking lot.  

I'll print a ghost car, no VIN, and I'll print my own license plate while i'm at it to prevent joinder.

Seroiusly though, this is pretty cool, though they are just "neignborhood vehicles" so far.

I checked Local Motors out when I was covering the NAIAS for my website. They were at The Gallery and had a booth with 3d printing at the main show in Cobo. They're actually starting to go through crash testing. Final panels won't look as rough. They kept them rough on purpose to show the parts actually were 3d printed.
