02:32 p.m. HST, Jan 16, 2015 The Hawaii Air National Guard said it will be holding a large-scale "Sentry Aloha" fighter exercise beginning Tuesday involving nearly 60 aircraft from six states.

"Sentry Aloha". Hawaiian for "Government-paid golfing vacation in Hawaii while it's cold and snowy back home". I'll bet there isn't an empty slot for a tee time at the Hickam golf course any day those TDY units are in town.

The worst raptor unit in the AF, by every single metric. Funny....so we did a det and the HANG guys were there. A bunch of us were sitting around the RR just chilling and a bunch of them walk in. Half of them look like The Rock. Massive Dudes looked more like nose tackles than pilots. I'm sure our jaws were on the floor. Real nice guys from what I remember. |
