I am with you on this one. We have a lot strong rivers but only one big canyon.

It was a huge, raging river whose water came from melting glacier ice. Rivers today have nothing on the rivers of yesteryear.

Not only that but these so called "scientists" also say the Grand Canyon is millions of years old.
How the fuck can it be millions of years old if the earth is only 6,000 years old?

Grand Canyon Voilà From the air you do realize the top is raised up quite a bit over the desert floor. Very gradual but you can see it getting higher and the canyons getting deeper. |

Some speculate that the Grand Canyon actually went west to east first.
Then it went dry as the Rockies started to form, until finally the Rockies rose up high and the river re-started, flowing east to west as it does now. The reason behind this thinking is that some of the tributaries face the wrong way before the flow of the water sharply turns back when joining the Colorado river. This is most obvious in the northern canyon tributaries.

Latest theory is that there was a huge inland sea in Utah, finally got too full and found a way out, thus cutting the grand canyon in record time.
