A Republican and a Democrat were walking down the street when they
came to a homeless person. The Republican gave the homeless person his
business
card and told him to come to his business for a job. He then took twenty
dollars out of his pocket and gave it to the homeless person.

*

The Democrat was very impressed, and when they came to another homeless
person, he decided to help. He walked over to the homeless person and
gave him directions to the welfare office. He then reached into the
Republican's pocket and gave the homeless person fifty dollars.

*

Now do you understand the difference between Republicans and Democrats?

A true Republican wouldn't even give a homeless guy the time of day.

The only ones I have ever acknowledged are the ones who say "Excuse me, I'm not asking for money, please listen to me for a second and take a look at this paper." (he was distributing a homeless activist rag in San Francisco).

That was pretty smart of him.  All he had to say to get me to treat him like another human being, was to not ask for my money.  Because face it: you could give a homeless person $100,000 and it would be gone in a year or less and they'd be back where they are now.  What's $20 or $50 going to help?

I hope you never become mentaly impaired and end up on the street. You'd be in for a rude awakening...

Furthermore, this isn't about the homeless, It's about POS Democrates!
