You have to make sure and setup your account with the POP3 Server as mail.ar15.com and the SMPT server mail.ar15.com. If you need anything else IM me, but this is generally what the problem is. Also make sure you don't have MSN or AOL as your ISP because you won't be able to send messages using Outlook because they blook port 28 or 29 or something like that, they do this so you're forced to use their mail services.

When I try to use it, it sends me through a series of pop-ups to set it up. All seems well, until I get to a window that asks for e-mail server names. There is a pull down window that has POP3, IMAP, and HTTP, and 2 more into which I need to type incoming and outgoing mail servers. I haven't been able to get past that.
I recently had to get a new hard drive and install all my software. |

i have prodigy. I have tried entering my e-mail adress and my ISP's name in various forms and have gotten bupkus.

You can go through the series of popups and enter the info there, or from the "tools" menu, click on "accounts" and then click on the "add" button. From there you can enter the info in the boxes, name, email, POP3 incoming mail, SMPT outgoing mail, email password, etc.
Once you get it set up it defaults to send/receive mail every 30 minutes. You can change that if you want, or hit the "send/recv" button to check your mail. HTH |
