That is some nasty shit I never understood how it got the following that it has. Before I had ever really heard of it, I was eating over at my buddy's one day and asked for some hot sauce, and he handed me a bottle of it (the original kind.) Never seen it before, as I said, but I love hot sauce so fuck it, whatever. Dipped my chicken in it and almost gagged and the taste.

For example, I wouldn't use Sriracha on Mexican food. They have their own purposes and uses. |

I'll have to pick some up, I'm almost out of the cock sauce we picked up at Costco.
If it's pretty much the same thing and less expensive I'll have no problem supporting a new manufacturer. Hot dogs, peanut butter, green relish and cock sauce FTMFW !!!

Sriracha is awesome with eggs, rice, sushi, in mealoaf glaze, and a ton of other things. It doesn't go well with everything. I wouldn't dip wings in it, I don't think.

To each their own. I like the flavor of Sriracha and it has just the right amount of heat for me (unlike some of you, I haven't burned my taste buds out yet).
I hate Tabasco--both the taste and the smell. To the point where if someone at the table orders wings where the sauce is Tabasco-based, I have actually moved to the other end of the table before. |
