El Monstero out of St Louis is very fuckin good also.  They do a summer show at a outside venue  and fly in a  helichopter to do the wall

I saw PF during the Division Bell tour and I've seen the Aussie version twice.  They might be the best cover band I've ever seen.  Even David Gilmour (who is #1 on my "guitar god list") is impressed with them...and he's not easy to impress.

ETA: No Texas dates on this tour...damn.

RIF

There is APF (best, IMHO)
then Brit Floyd
and semi-locally, Wish We Were Floyd

all do a great job of covering PF, but I
cannot tell you how impressed I am with APF.. just brilliant.

... between Waters and Gilmore,  I've seen Pink Floyd 6 times.
And while they're not Pink Floyd, these guys rock! Seen 'em twice, they have a unique knack for filling in some holes that the band and technology may have missed 20 years earlier

Yup, at Arrowhead.  Best Concert ever!

I still laugh at how we all thought the tickets were outrageous: $42!  Forty Two Dollars, for nose bleed!  LoL....

Last time Waters came through KC a couple years ago doing the Wall, cheapest seats were $300.

Might have to catch one of these cover bands sometime.

Dang I paid like 75 bucks for decent nosebleeds for his Wall Live tour a few years ago.

That's like saying Arnold Palmer sucks at golf because you saw him hit is ceremonial tee shot at the Masters this year.

Post '91 dead, especially '95, is widely considered shit.  Listen to some spring of '77 shows and then tell me that's the same band you saw in summer '95.

I had already booked a week of vacation later this year.  Conveniently, they are playing two dates that week!  Sunday in Denver, Friday in KC.  I originally booked that week, cause on Sunday, another band I want to see is playing in Denver.  Looks like I might be planning a big Two Concert Road Trip!

I've seen them 3 times, and they were fantastic every time.
