I would rather drive the 17-18 hours, than fly.

Even though I know its "statistically safer" to fly... I'm still a chicken shit, and know that karma would reach out and touch me, with my past cynicism.

I won't get married, because I know it'll end in an ugly divorce with me losing everything, I won't have any kids because they'll be born retarded or with deformities... And I won't fly on a plane, because that bitch WILL crash!!!

Ugh, I hate spending more than an hour in a car. I'd fly even if it was more dangerous, plus it's fun.

How was security? It really sucked there during the last couple months of 2013.

That is the worst airport I've ever had the dis pleasure of passing through.

Can they somehow build an airport with boarding gates further apart?

I doubt it.

I haven't flown in years. One of the last times that I flew I kept setting off the metal detector so this little old lady says in a strong accent "This one needs to be wanded Mohamed"    I now drive when I have to go back east.

Haven't been to Heathrow, but Minneapolis really does put the gates ridiculously far apart. The "F" gates should require a separate flight just to get there, at least from the light rail security point.

THIS. It's basically one ginormous mega-terminal that's a bitch to navigate. It would be easier if they had separate terminals connected by a tram.

Go back out into the terminal then try to get back into the club using your concealed carry license as your ID and see what happens.  I haven't used Delta in a while so they might be like United Clubs and use your boarding pass for entry which would take all the fun out of the experiment.

No kidding. I always think the boarding gate is a state secret that they only post to the monitors when the plane is ready to board.
