Lastnight I watch Jurastic park II. And I noticed one of the hunters carrying an assault rifle. A Heckler and Koch, in 308(?).
Perharps the film makers didn't know that an elephant gun or a .50 would've been more appropiate for hunting dinos.
Provided with a small team, say five men. How sort of firearms would you pack?

Barret 82 for sure with an HK in 308 for the smaller critters.  I'd be thinking more along the lines of shooting bigger dinos in the eye with a 308 if I ran out of 50 ammo.

However, I'd be most comfortable in the seat of an airborn AC130 gunship if the dino shit hit the fan.
