I want one much. I want the square look vs. the slanty eyed aerodynamic grocery getter. |

Honestly guys, if I ever built another rig, it wouldn't matter what that vehicle began life as. If you're serious about wheeling, factory options don't mean shit. So yeah, Wranglers losing solid front axles doesn't surprise me.

I see this giving the Jeep Wrangler some much needed competition. I want one in Flat Dark Earth. Wrangler competition WITHOUT at least solid axles? LOLz, I don't think so. I have an 04 rubicon...I hear you. I also think going to IRS in the Mustang is dumb (live axle greater than IRS FOR 1/4 mile)...but when you consider that the vast majority of jeeps do not go off-road, or at best are not pushed to their capabilities and are driven by people that want to look cool...YEAH, it will give the Jeep a run for its money. FWIW, there is already a bolt-in Ford 9-inch rear end kit being tested for the 2015 Mustang that will be an FRPP catalog part. My sources say look for it next summer. |

Make a decent basic 2 door bronco without all the shit thrown on it I may consider it.
That concept will never make it to market. |

I love Ford, but that looks like something built from Megablocs. Still sorta want. ditto, the diesel option makes it doubly interesting, wonder if this makes Toyota think more or less about getting a US diesel hi lux in here. |

When it wasn't leaving a breadcrumb trail of parts in it's wake, it was the awesomest thing on four wheels. You could load that thing with floozies till they were gasping for air and it just grinned and took it… Like a shepherd dog running sheep, or a pit bull eating babies… Just at one with it's task. A beautiful thing. |

Wranglers don't really even offer competition to anything. The sales numbers are so low that they are a tiny blip on the radar. That's why no one directly competes with Wrangler, not much of a point in such a niche market. |
