So I just got back from a week-long business trip and my wife mentioned she saw a sign at a house nearby advertising GSD puppies. We already have one; he is 9 years old. We went to "look" at them today and, long-story-short, I need a name for our new little boy. Our current one's name is Stunner. I was thinking something german sounding. She likes Titus and Tiberius but I'm not sold on either one of them. Any suggestions from the hive?

Whenever I had a dog, the name never really mattered.

I ended just calling them "dog" or "dummy" after a while.

I always gove my dogs 3 names.
First is a military rank.
Examples Col Dodge, Major
Second is what we call them in polite company
Dodge, Major
Third is what I call them in  private

How about some Norse mythology names:
Garmr or Garm is a dog associated with Ragnarök, and described as a blood-stained watchdog that guards Hell's gate.
Fenrir "the monster of the river Ván" is a monstrous wolf.
