Army, male, 18-21 was 82 pushups an 92 situps in two minutes and 11:54 for a two mile run.

Min I believe, 60% to pass was Pushups 42, Situps 52, 14:54 Two Mile Run

pretty much the 17-21 standards then are the mid 30's standards now
IIRC 42/ 52/ 15:56 was the minimum 17-21 mens

That's the new standard. I took my first Army PT test in September 1978. Horizontal ladder, run-dodge-jump etc.
They ought to bring that one back.

I was in during the early 80's only ever did push ups, sit ups and run .
