"Silent Night" is my favorite, especially when sung at a slow tempo as intended.
"All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" sucked ass the first time I heard it.

Favorite -- way too many to choose just one (I love Christmas, and Christmas music), but if forced I would probably say the Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy duet by Bing and Bowie
Least favorite -- by far, Happy Christmas (War Is Over) by John Lennon (with Yoko

Most favorite - I couldn't choose between "Christmas for Cowboys" by John Denver or "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" by just about anyone doing just lyrics and simple accompaniment.
Least favorite - I will side with the above poster and go with "Happy Christmas (War Is Over)" by John Lennon
I live in a Beetles infested area so I hear it all too often. |

Don't know that there are any that I don't like, but there are some versions not done well by particular singers.
I love to hear my girls sing along to Michael Jacksons version of " Santa Claus is coming to town" when he was a kid. I cant tell you how many people thought I was crazy letting them sing it at the top of their lungs sitting in the Wal-mart parking lot with the windows down...in October. You can't buy that kind of happiness with all the money in the world!!! |
