From other videos, the croc died 10-11-11. The trainer found the croc twenty years ago suffering from a gun shot to the head and nursed it back to health.

New World Croc's don't have the nasty reputation that African or Asian Croc's have.

He probably kept that croc so well fed that it didn't have any interest in eating him.
I'd worry less about that one and more about the other ones in that river. |

Here is the" Crocodile Bridge" over the river Rio Tarcoles on the way from San Jose to Jaco beach Costa Rica.
I always stop here for the view of these monsters.
