Sometimes its one of those chicken/egg things.  She might need to go on more rides to learn where her place is in the car.  When I got mine, I made sure even as a puppy she didn't try and lay/ stand on me while driving.  A lot of things are cute/ bearable when they are puppies but very difficult to deal with when they are 90lbs.

This works extremely well.

The length of the seat belt line was perfect for her to move around, lay down, yet not come forward in case of an accident.

Yep, i should have started when she was younger.

My son usually holds onto her when we take her out.

At 85+lbs she sure is strong though!

Double layer of 1/2 ply (24" x 48"), glue together, make some legs, double stick carpet tape, and staple to bottom.  Tie down with some straps and get the Cabelas bench seat cover.  We had to use some towels to get it level, but then you always had two towels in case you needed them.   This was her spot and she knew it.  Seat belt came out and tail started wagging.

As puppies and young  adults they are the most destructive
animals known to mankind.

I've had a number of different breeds, but labs have been head and shoulders above the rest.  This is Lily....my 3rd lab.  Slightly posessed and evil at times, but I still love her.....somehow.

Butthead. She's an eating machine. She literally eats everything around her; acorns, tree bark, rabbit poo, even a live rattlesnake once.

Boretard. He's chaser of all things spherical.

As far as I'm concerned the Labrador Retriever is mankind's greatest accomplishment.
