Just rough details on CNN now.  Someone was shot and apparently killed by familiar one bullet and run.  Looking for details.

Shooting in Falls Church, VA, Fairfax county.  Woman shot outside shopping center.  Reports of a possible police persuit underway.

The Montgomery County-based task force investigating the sniper attacks has been notified of tonight's shooting in Fairfax County, Virginia.

Montgomery County Officer Derek Baliles says the task force is conferring with Fairfax authorities to see if the shooting is related.

A spokesman in Fairfax says roads are being closed in the area, reported to be in the Seven Corners neighborhood, which is where routes 7 and 50 come together.

The spokesman declined to reveal any other details.

Any idea why she was killed with a headshot?

All these fucking talking heads on TV speculating about the sniper and how poor his skills must really be. All day long I have been listening to retired/has-been snipers from USMC or FBI drone on about the killer's lack of skill.  Oh yeah? Well, take that lady!
