That's why I have a dog. They have some goddamn common decency.

I do not live in a barn.
People live in my house. Animals live outside. |

My cat sits near the door to my room every night and just stares at me... http://i331.photobucket.com/albums/l457/jono_usmc/8c5407dbcced862f3c5263eb977e7928_zpsdc8afdf0.jpg Not staring...... .....Waiting... |

My beloved Buffy, black lab mix, until she was about 18 months old would wake me up at 8:30 am sharp, every morning. By raring up on her hind legs and fucking punching me in the stomach with her front feet. Sometimes my nuts. Until I opened my eyes, then she'd fucking smile at me... Hey, let's go pop!
Yup,waits 5-10 minutes to make sure im going to sleep before going to sleep herself.
20 seconds after your last breath, that ungratefull feline will be serving up your liver with Fava beans and a nice chianti.
Get a Dog. They know what to do with homicidal maniac wannabe felines. |
Occasionally I'll wake up with my Jack Russel staring me in the eyes with his head on the pillow and body under the covers just like I'm laying...
He's a weird ass dog |
My Cane Corso used to lay her jug head on the edge of the bed until I would roll over facing away from her. I guess she thought I was asleep when I rolled over and then would go lay down on her blanket. She did it her whole life.
She'd wake me up by flopping her head on the bed, breathing on me, staring at me and twitching her eyebrows up and down like some dogs on TV. |

My sisters dog, when I dogsit him. Some mornings when I first started dogsitting him... I'd wake up to him on my chest, staring intently at me Something like this: http://i972.photobucket.com/albums/ae202/slowkota1/417548_847296001712_160408194_n_zps75200aca.jpg Fuckin creeper My dog does that. Now he adds a little groaning too. |

Nah, he just always wants to play or go run around outside. He'd do a lil huffin and puffin too if I opened my eyes then shut them again... Funny dag! |

The cat lays on my pillow 2 inches from my face and stares at me for hours.
Sometimes I wake up and he is still right where he was when I went to bed. Kinda creepy. |

My cat used to lick my head while I slept. In case you don't know, cats have raspy, sandpaper-like tongues. It wakes you up.

We've got one dog that sleeps in the bedroom. I don't know if he's watching us or not. He comes in and goes directly under the covers.

Dogs are guarding you. Cats are just waiting to steal your breath...

We-ll...................
three pets, a dog and two cats. The dog nestles with me, under the blanket, next to my thigh. Probably something kinky and perverted about that. The girl cat stays in her throne room. I wish she would join the rest of us.......but the feud between her and brother is extreme. Brother will come up on the blanket, stare down at me; he's there to get me to pet him. Finally, I am pretty convinced that anytime I have a dream about the Alien.....it's him running a clawed paw over my face to see if I am awake. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ ("There's nothing wrong with a little perversion provided you don't hurt yourself."--Charles Henry Moffet, (w,stte), "Airwolf pilot movie") |

Yeah, the Australian Shepherd will get up and come look at me anytime I move while I'm asleep. Constantly having to tell him to relax and go back to sleep.
He gets plenty of exercise and attention, 3 times a day we go walking or play frisbee or let him run in my pasture. He doesn't have any other OCD traits or bad habits that stem from under stimulated working breeds. He's just a damn creeper. Have to put him in the crate if I bring a woman over or he'll go ape shit being locked out of a room. |
The cats checking to see if you've stopped breathing so they can start to eat you
Our dogs are crated at night, I can't tell if they are staring as the lights are out.
My cat. Sleeps all damn day. Chases, runs, plays, and bangs random shit around all night.

Not staring no.
We just got a 5 month old Sun Conure and that lil bugger wants nothing more than to sleep under my chin / in my armpit under the covers lol Woe betide if anyone but me attempts to remove him from there lol. Only let him do it once overnight against my better judgement. Amusingly he didn't crap on me at all...on his own he walked off my chest and onto a towel we had left in between us to take care of that Gets grumpy when its bed time and I walk to his cage instead of letting him hang out. Grunts / snorts and puts his head down on my shoulder lol. If I ask nicely "Please get in the cage I need to sleep" He will grudgingly climb in lol |
