I have every confidence in M193 or similar to deal with such a vest and individual, although pelvic girdle shots for "security" are a good part of a training regimen.

Yeah, I can't fathom that both the shootees in the videos would back up. I'd want to be right on top of the shooter to make sure they DIDN'T MISS.

Anyone know what type of vest and what protection level it offered in that first video? It looked pretty cheap.

This. I was hoping to see a TT-33, CZ-52, or M57 at work.

On the other hand, in the first vid, shooter almost flinched enough to hit broseph there in the pelvis...would have been entertaining.
