I have a BFL but nobody knows what it is.  NRA sticker is on my kegerator.
I figured I should not advertise that I have something worth stealing.

Not even worried about thieves.

I worry about the liberal vegan upper middle class soccer mom who tries to bait me with road rage in the Trader Joe's parking lot.

I worry about the rookie cop eager to show off what he learned in the academy on one of those white supremacist domestic terrorist 2nd amendment types.

I worry about the director at my company who sees my car in the parking lot and decides to fuck over the asshole sysadmin who always shoots down his dumb ass requests to fix things that aren't even broken by making up a story about how i threatened to kill him with my gun.

No damage or vandalism so far.

You and Mike Adams must be the only pro-gun profs in the country.

Just a BFL on the back window and unless it's someone on here nobody knows what it is.                                                                                             The only reason for the BFL is because I like the way it looks.

I've got a red 1" BFL on the upper corner of my back window, and nothing else.

Trying to stay under the radar while satisfying my "need" to "tell the world who I am."

An NRA sticker is too obvious and I don't want my truck keyed, tires slashed (again), or windows smashed.

Too bad it has to be that way, but it is what it is.

Is this a Vermont thing? Here in NC, every other pickup has a NRA sticker.

I don't put any decals / bumper stickers or any shit like that on any of my vehicles, period.  There are a myriad of reasons for that... after having many discussions with LEO's over beers about this topic I am convinced my reasoning is sound and I'm sticking to it.

I do rock a BFL hitch cover on my F150, however unless you are right on top of it you can't even tell there is a symbol there.  Anyone who happens to be right on top of it to be able to see there is a symbol AND knows what the symbol is, isn't someone I'm going to worry about.

Yes, I have stickers on both my and my wife's vehicles. They've been on since '07 and '09 when we first bought them and nothing bad has happened to them. I also have a GOA decal. All three of them are the outside of the glass version as our back windows are factory tinted.

Of course now that I posted the above Murphy is going to rear his ugly head, huh?

Does anyone have actual EVIDENCE or EXPERIENCE with people vandalizing NRA stickers or keying cars, etc.?

My buddy's truck had tons of stickers on the back. Gun companies, motorcycle companies, etc. Someone scratched up just the gun ones and keyed the shit out of the side of the truck. When he showed me I just shrugged and told him that I said it wasn't a good idea to have them on there in the first place.
