Starting from the easy one.  Arizona.  :)

Colorado does, but is subject to local banning, so the net result is that you can carry except in town.

Wisconsin does (originally by omission, but now by constitutional ammendment and state pre-emption of local firearms laws).

However, local law enforcement can be very anti-gun in some localities (Milwaukee, Madison, Racine, Kenosha specifically) has been known to cite/arrest for distrubing the peace, disorderly conduct, or what-have-you.

This site will tell you about concealed carry and open carry for each state.

Actually, I'm quite familiar with packing.org.  Sometimes they have dated or just wrong information.  They depend on their visitors to provide their data.  If I'm going to trust strangers, I think I'd trust the members of this board.  They don't come much stranger! [:D]

West Virginia is another. However, only once in the past 20 years have I seen an individual carrying a pistol in the open and I owned and operated a gun shop for 15 of those years so I had a better than average opportunity to observe my fellow WV gun owners and their carry habits. If you wish to see little old ladies and multitudes of soccer moms scream, call the cops and fall away in a dead faint, then by all means go ahead and open carry. Concealed carry is the way to go! Nevada has open carry. Anywhere except a bar/casino, airport, school,Gov building.

If concealed you may legaly carry in a bar/casino.

On paper it is legal in Ohio.

In practice, you will be hassled for disorderly conduct or inciting a panic.  Cities are the worst, like every where else.  City people are so screwed up in the head sometimes!

Our House has passed CCW but it is tied up in the Senate so as not to embarrass the COMMUNIST Gov Taft.

Same thing in Mississippi.  Legal, but looked down upon.

Michigan in theory, but you will be arrested by order of the state police and the police unions.
The DNR cops will also arrest you in the woods on your own land for it.

I know that's wrong. [:D]

No Alabama state law that specifically allows open carry.  You'll certainly be arrested for disturbing the peace.  Concealed is the only way to go.

Laws have to specifically prohibit something.

No Alabama law forbids you from carrying, either. Insofar as disturbing the peace is concered, you have to be disturbing the peace. Perhaps I should've said, carrying a handgun in public in Alabama is not proscribed.
