Looks fun.
I was born there ... and yes, I'm glad we moved. I remember the dumpster races at my father's plant. After work they'd get two fullsize roll-around dumpsters and race them across the back of the factory in the wind. Going to be 74 degrees and sunny tomorrow a bit warmer come Monday. |

Winter winds here can get powerful and fierce! I bet that was fun racing the dumpsters! Its going to get much colder monday here. highs of -10 with lows of -35! |

I went bear hunting in Minnesota several years ago and we stayed at the Lake of The Woods Resort, right on the lake.
They had a cartoon on the wall of both winter fishing and summer fishing. The summer pic had the fisherman shivering in a heavy coat and wind blowing and the winter pic had him sitting in a house with a heater in shorts and short sleeve shirt on the frozen lake. lol |

I have customers in Minnesota, Alaska, and... Texas.
Guess who only gets visited in the Winter? |

I am not excited for Monday. I can handle the cold but a high that is below zero is ridiculous. Looks like it was fun anyway.

OP's never been to Wisconsin... I have, and it can get bad I know it. Today was not the worst weather we have experienced though. It was really nice today, never got cold, quite a easy day than i have experienced. |

I'm heading to the Devils lake one next weekend. I'm gonna get me a pickup.

Not too bad around Duluth today. I went cross country skiing in Brule WI before the wind started. I love fishing, but ice fishing bores me. I can't sit still.

I get invited every winter to go ice fishing in Minnesota. There's no fuckin way.

People that have never been ice fishing freak out when they see you having a bonfire on the lake.
Totally not looking forward to Monday, I hate messing with frozen shit. Everything at work is big, made of metal and lives outside. Makes for a real long work day. BTW the first pic is fantastic. |

We would have contests to see who was "man" enough to jump into Lake Superior in the middle of July and August. That thing is cold all year round and you needed liquid courage to jump in beyond your thighs.

23 is pretty warm for January.
This coming week would have been more entertaining with temps well below zero. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

I pretty much live to fish but, FUCK THAT!!!!! Glad I live in the south and have some occasional 50-70 degree days during winter.

Coldest I've fished in was -16... It sucked balls, but the bite was on!!! It was literally soooo cold, that the fish froze almost instantly after throwing them onto the ice. When I came home, and defrosted them in the sink... The fuckers came back to life!!!! Craziest shit I've ever witnessed! |

I see a bunch of people who are too nuts to own guns or work in important jobs.

I saw a lot of beer cans get blown with the wind, I wonder how many beer cans would be found on the shoreline at the end of the wind path! Of course the Jaycees have bunch of people working after everyone leaves, to clean up all the mess. Majority of the people working there are volunteers. I need to take one year and do my part volunteering. |
