They are not getting much traction out of that, owing to their strict firearms laws and high proportion of urban demographics. From the article, if you were really into hunting you'd be in heaven, no game limits or season in some areas, but you can only have a shotgun.
Wierd item: when trying to introduce venison, alot of people there are not comfortable eating it. Really? From the country that eats deadly poisonous fish, and almost anything else that comes out of the sea, and venison is too unusual? Different strokes I guess.
