Garmin 2595LMT with voice activation.
Lifetime maps and the voice activation is awesome. I've yet to tell it a command it didn't understand. |

The jitterbug was a great comparison. lol.... If you're buying it for a technophobe, then maybe a tomtom. Otherwise, garmin or magellan. |

From what I understand the new apple ios6 maps uses a Tom Tom engine and well we heard the reviews on that. I wouldn't have one. Garmin all the way for me.

The Garmin one. That is the best.
I own two Magellan's and a Navigon that I picked up back in 2007 during a black friday sale at newegg (Euro company that no longer makes hardware), but if I was going to get a new one today it would be a higher end Garmin with lifetime maps. |

My All my sons friends that have Tom Tom call them Dumb Dumb My brothers Tom Tom used to tell him to take roads that didn't exist & turn of the side of a bridge with no exit ramp coming up. |

My TomTom was fine when it was brand new but it has been getting flaky (it's about 4 years old now). The maps need to be updated but I'm going to buy a Garmin instead.
