On his trip to Cambodia, a country he claimed didn't deserve a visit due to its strongman government, first lady Bun Rany greeted Obama with a traditional "sampeah" pressed-hands greeting reserved for servants, a little dig that was probably lost on him but not to Asians.

So what is really Obama's tour about? Apparently a get-out-of-town photo-op all about himself as a means of avoiding pressing problems back home. The Asians deserve better — and so do the Americans.

It's the Kenyan in his blood.  That's proof he's not the commie Marshall's son.

BTW, when does he throw up his arms and shout, "Allah Akbar!?"

"Weighed in the balance and found lacking."

The whole world is looking at the BHO administration and all they see is weakness and stupidity on display.

While I agree with the article, it's also wrong.

We sampeah to show a sign of respect to our elders or to the monks of the watt. The higher the hands and lower you bow means the higher respect you're giving.

I'm more pissed that she's actually giving him respect.

This is how I understand it. I don't see any disrespect being given.

While no detail is given in the article, it's all about the height of the hands. In the picture she is not giving him much respect at all. Just about the same as a passing acknowledgement.

Eh. She's about 58 years old and the ladies I know in that age range do it much the same way. You rarely see ladies bend over far and lift their hands high unless it's at watt (temple). Hell I'm 31 years old and I don't bow down too far or lift my hands much higher either. It's not to show disrespect to my elders but usually it's because it's done in passing as my parents are introducing me to new people in their conversations.

Oh there is no doubt about that whatsoever. If she really is doing so out of disrespect then maybe I should have more faith in people of the world seeing his bullshit. May 1million fucks be upon him for eternity.
