I'm an animal lover. I can appreciate how beautiful and majestic she was walking around in the woods. I'm also a hunter and know she will be freaken delicious!

man, guy I know took wounded marines to hunt in western va, he got FIVE deer, big ass deer, the hunt organizers didn't get around to gutting them til 0100 then didn't ice them down when they delivered the meat.  his butcher rejected them saying the meat was rotten. he was not happy all day...

'Bout 20 miutes away. The Lady of the Manor where I hunt didn't like it when one of the hounds hacked up
some deer innards under the dinner table...

That's a good reason

Make some awkward dinner conversation " I say what IS the pup having such a hard time with under there?"

You should try hanging them upside down to skin, gut, and quarter. It really is much easier.

I like the visegrips on the mechanism thingy.     lol

Minor thread hi-jack, but when I swapped out the 22RE on my old 4Runner, I used a 20 dollar come-along to pull it out and then drop it back in and your vise grips reminded me of this, since the come-along's teeth were stripping out and I had to jam a screwdriver in the gears to keep the thing from crashing to the concrete.

Anyway, congrats on your deer.

The crank has a lil' tension pawl to keep it in place. When that handle slaps your knuckles/fingers in 10 degree weather, they stay numb for days.
The lighting was for a photo shoot the neighbor kid was doing. Strobes and spotlights 'til about 11:00 pm.
Good thing I get along with the neighbors...
