Marlin 336 in .35 Remington, same rifle I've used since I was 14.
Tikka T3 Lite in 308.
Already have one in the freezer with it and am going again next weekend for more. |

Custom Remington Model 7 in 250-3000 (250 Savage), Shilen #1 light contour barrel, Lone Wolf 14 oz stock, Leupold Euro 1-4 30mm scope, thing carries like a feather!

If I get to go (wife is 39 weeks pregnant), i'll be using the sbr from this post. http://www.ar15.com/mobile/topic.html?b=2&f=385&t=223559 The only thing I've changed since the pic was taken is that I'm using 2 qrp mounts to get them both at the same height instead of having a qrp mount on the 5x magnifier and a larue mount for the aimpoint pro. Sure hope I get to use that 300 blk this year.

Won't be deer hunting this season. But my dad is hunting with his Ruger 7mm mag
I used a Hoyt Carbon element to get my bow buck and if I decide to go gun hunting the first week in Dec. I'll have to use my 870 HD since I sold my dedicated sluggun.
Remington 788 in .243 that's older than I am, with a fixed 4 power scope.
I've taken a buck and a doe already with a Bowtech Destroyer 340, so I'm probably done. I can get more tags, but I doubt I will.

Rem 700 XCR .270WSM... not actually bambi, actually harvested a Cow Elk on Friday with it.

Quoted: Tikka T3 Lite in 308. Already have one in the freezer with it and am going again next weekend for more. I have had my eye on one of those.. How do you like it? |

It comes in to it's own when you are hiking or pushing for a deer drive. If you want to shoot more than a couple of rounds in a row I would be leery of it tho since it will beat you up after a while and the light barrel gets hot quickly (cools down pretty quick tho). Over all I like it and use it over my 30-06 and da tirty tirtys. |

Depends...
Slug barreled 870 around the houses. 3" Old fashioned slugs 7400 carbine in 30-06 for walking. 165gr Hollowpoint GameKings Model 70 Classic Stainless 30-06 for sitting. 180gr Accubonds I've seen 9 but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Getting down to the wire... |
T/C Contender 14" 30-30. Most of my shots are less than 75 yds. Makes it a chip shot with the pistol and the scope set at 4x
So far, I have one down with the Savage muzzleloader and two down with the 6.8SPC. Two nice bucks, one doe (got a double yesterday with the 6.8).

I use a JC Higgins Model 50 in .270 sold by Sears in the early 50s. I have a Burris 2-7x30 on it. The Model 50 was originally produced by Belgium's Fabrique Nationale using a commercial 98 Mauser action and 22 inch chrome lined barrel from High Standard. If you come across one, they are great guns. They came in only .270 and .30-06.
I shot three antlerless with it this year so far. I have taken about 30 deer with it in the last 8 years. I bought it from an older Marine friend who would I deer hunt with as a teen. He made me promise that if I ever sold it, I would sell it back to him at the price I bought it for. I have had it for almost 30 years. He had it as a Marine in Hawaii and has killed hogs, deer, and sheep with it. It even has his SS# engraved on it. I will be keeping it. He has since passed on, did his last deer hunt with me several years ago. I still think about him when I go out deer hunting. More Info on the JC Higgins Model 50s This is an 8 point I shot a couple of years ago with the rifle in it. |

If the deer don't stop eating the wife's rose bushes, I an going to take one out with a baseball bat.
I have an older PSE for bow season and my 450 bushmaster and 870 for modern gun season.
I've already taken 2 with my Hoyt Carbon Element. My next one will be taken with a .44mag lever gun.

My son and I have six on the ground to our 35 Dexter chambered Howa 1500 rifles.

Browning Xbolt 30-06, Vortex Viper 3-9x40
http://i49.tinypic.com/wluk9l.jpg Worked out pretty well this year |

Didn't get drawn, if I did it would have been a Ruger 77 7mm Rem Mag down loaded with a 120 grain Nosler Partition or my 6.8 SPC.... .
