Well, apparently some people [i]chose[/i] to be offended, and couldn't see who the target of that poster was, so I've deleted it in consideration of them. Obviosly, it had nothing do to with people who are mentally challenged. I know this was tasteless, but I was hoping that it would be overlooked to see the real message behind the poster. How many other posts on this board are tasteless? How many hours and how much bandwidth have been dedicated to sitting in front of the PC holding "virutal" pissing matches. I have many friends and family with handicaps, and I wasn't offended, but... oh well. I've deleted the picture from my post. I can't help it if others put in in their posts. Man...that is soooo wrong. Ya know, sometimes I truly believe the only ones who actually get what life is all about are the mentally challenged. All they care about is being happy and living life(at least all the ones I have had the privileg of meeting).

I think the local sheriff is aware of my shooting habits/techniques. I have bumped a few rounds here lately and I have not seen/heard from the police.
I even learned a neat little trick to show you guys at HUNFUNGUNSUN in October. |

I deleted the Special Olympic Pictures.
It may seem funny superficially,but I think it is wrong to make fun at the expense of defenseless people who are so innocent and can't fight back. I don't hold it against those who posted it,but please think about how you would feel if you had a child with a disability and a similar picture with a similar message was posted to make a point. As GB so often says: "It is not about being PC,it's about being a decent, compassionate human being." [:)] |

I think we over-think things and make life really tedious and complicated. All life boils down to two things: 1) Things we like. 2) Things we don't like. Everything else is minutia. |
