The National Audit Office report said Britain's helicopters, guns, and heavy-lifting vehicles all struggled in the heat and dust of Oman, while standard-issue boots fell apart or even melted in the sun. Why does this surprise anyone ? Years ago , there was a British Auto industry . Because of crap designs and even poorer engineering , the industry collapsed . The big 3 manufactures kept some things going in the U.K. after sending US personal over there to save it . We all know about Lucas electrical systems (joke ;why do Britts drink warm beer ? Lucas makes the refrigerators }. They have their heads up the Queens' Royal Ass ! This IS a socialist country and this is what you get !

The French didn't even realize that the British had "tanks and helicopters and guns, oh, my!!" Thay have begun preparations for surrender.
