$2750.00 an acre.  Looks like a good buy for someone in the market.

That surely could be a problem.

I'd hate to think what 80 would cost in my area, Probably somewhere in the millions.

My friend just sold off a bunch of one acre lots on his farm. Gravel road to the front, shallow & badly polluted creek to the rear, sold for over $20,000.00 an Acre!!!

I doubt his dad paid $20,000.00 for the whole farm in the 1950's.

Geeze, at that price it would be a BARGAIN in my area. Cheap land (low and wet) goes for $10,000.00 an acre.

Looks like a nice place at a great price.Plus you've got the xmas tree side of it to bring in some cash.As a native Floridean I just don't think I would like the winters though.

Just down the road a ways, there are 40 acre lots advertised for 18,900. For the whole 40, not per acre. The guy seems to be having a hard time selling them.
Of course, when we left Ca., we sold our .9 acre lot for $225k.
Location, location, location.

Down south of Olympia near the Bucoda/Tenino area you can get a decent house (1500 sq ft) on 5 acres of land between 73k to 100k .

Damn, all that land for 1/2 the price of a crappy condo in San Jose.

I drove through Kansas once...ONCE!

I swear that damn road was FLAT and STRAIGHT and I think I passed the same farm house like 40 times.

not a hill or a bump... not even a turn...

STRAIGHT!!! I could honestly (with great wheel alignment) fall asleep with the old cruise control on, wake up 4 hours later and not miss a damn thing!

You should drive through Fargo, ND on I94 sometime.

That seems like a great price indeed....

Heck ---   the tiny 1/4 acre lot that we built our house on (in Northwest Jersey) cost more than that whole 80 acre parcel.

Thanks for the link..  I'm actually looking for something in PA !
