I finally got myself a new Bushmaster Varminter!  [bounce]

So far, I love it!  Trigger is incredible!

I can't wait to shoot it, I am having wild fantasies about itty bitty little shot groups...

Here she is:

All the 'special' paperwork made me feel so 'special'...[;D]

Thats a really nice rifle.  I'm still trying to decide between the Varminter, V-Math and the new 20" stainless A3 model.

A neutered frankenmag, even better! :)

Looks sweet. Who makes the trigger?

I paid full price, no deals on this one: $1049 plus tax & 'tag'.

The trigger is the Bushmaster two-stage trigger.  The paper says its set to 4.5 total pull but, it sure feels lighter than that!  Very short travel, too.  (very short)

Got the bipod attached.  Now I just need to order the scope.  I got a nice Leupold all picked out!!

Thanks everyone for the complements!!

I used to have a V-Match 20" at one point.  It was a nice rifle and was quite accurate.  From what I've read and heard though, the Varminter is the next step up in accuracy.  Guess I'll find out soon enough!

The new stainless barrelled rifle is nice too.  I was fondling it while buying this one yesterday.  Its definitely a different 'type' of rifle but, should be really accurate nonetheless.

One more observation:  This thing is surprisingly light weight.  Maybe I was just expecting it to weigh more but, it almost feels lighter than my A2s.  Maybe the weight is just balance better with the longer barrel...

Hey FM what happened to that nice Rem 700 VS you had :)
And that is a nice rifle you just picked up,it should make the adoption of the the other one much better.
Thanks
John
