Another one gone. Sergeant Major Robert E. Owles Jr. ret.  Army CID, Viet Nam vet. Hospital administrator. Security consultant. Passed away yesterday. One of the finest men I have ever known. God Speed.

I can close my eyes and remember him saying "Come with me." Me, "Where are we going?" Him in a gruff voice and that no bullshit look on his face, "We are going to go tell a cow how it is going to eat the cabbage!" Halarity usually ensued. He did not put up with stupid people.
