How long will a 10" iron griddle last?  I have one I'm taking to the Hun Shoot and just wondering what kind of beating it can take?

I'm sure we'll shoot the AR at it, but I'm also bringing a .300 WM for medium/long range.  


Wonder if a 180gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip will go through it?

My .300 WM load is a 180gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip over 75.5g RL-22.  Haven't chrony'ed yet, but the book says about 3000-3100 fps.

Being very brittle, cast iron probably won't last more than a couple of shots. High velocity slugs might make it last a little longer, but pistol rounds will destroy it in very short order.
Bear in mind that I have been wrong on one or two occasions.
