How can i get rid of a redirect virus ?

Sometimes you can clear (erase) your hosts file.  search for *host*  it should be somewhere in /windows/system32... directories.

Hitman Pro is very good at eliminating redirect viruses. Free for the first 30 days.

Hijackthis (got to download.com and download it) This is free. link

Malwarebytes is also free and might get it, but Hijackthis is really good for that type of thing.
