I think the computer generated zombies were terrible.   I like the original much better with Vincent Price.

Computer generated everything in that movie is terrible.  The lions look like the dogs from Ghostbusters.

The movie raped the total point of the book.

The point of the book wasn't hope (like the movie), and some critics say it was about human desire to not be alone (I disagree), I think the book was about what makes a society a society. At first Neville is seen as the normal one, but by the end of the book the reader realizes that he is now the abnormal one to the vampires. He has become the legend.
