So I shipped off my donation to the winner via USPS.  While talking to the clerk, he saw what I was shipping and we got to talking. After he heard the whole story, he refused to take my money and paid the shipping out of his own pocket.

It wasn't much, but it was if you know what I mean.

I get just as cynical as the next guy. There are still good folks out there.

The whole thing has been tragic and uplifting. It sounds cheesey, but there it is.

So do you care to share the story with those of us that missed it?
