These are interesting. I ordered one (Tokyo), it'll be here next week. The concept is that you have a 3D puzzle constituting a map of a city. And then you build the skyline according to a timeline, thus watching the actual city's skyline growth over its history.

It looks like all you do is place pegs into holes in the order it tells you to. |

Actually, there are several layers of the base, depending on which city you're doing. I think the average piece count is over 1k. The video illustrates how it works. |
