These are interesting.  I ordered one (Tokyo), it'll be here next week.  The concept is that you have a 3D puzzle constituting a map of a city.  And then you build the skyline according to a timeline, thus watching the actual city's skyline growth over its history.

You ever hear of these?

It looks like all you do is place pegs into holes in the order it tells you to.

The entire base piece is a puzzle.  Actually, there are several layers of the base, depending on which city you're doing.

I think the average piece count is over 1k.

they have them at a store near where I work.  I've thought about picking one up occasionally.  Maybe if they have a Kansas City one I will.
