US supreme court just OK'ed the unwarrented search of train/buses .. no rights need to be read.. you cant not refuse a search.. and they dont need PC.. IE.. bored transit police=searched passangers..


am I reading this wrong?

Nope , your reading it right , remember buses ,trains and subways are in the same class of [i][b]public[/b][/i] transportation as airplanes so its no surprise really .

It's my understanding that you can refuse to be searched, but they don't have to tell you that you have that right.

well sure you can refuse... but then they can also get you off at the next station/corner...

So, who in the US uses public transportation?

This just makes it even more difficult to construct modern mass transit in this country, and ensures the morning commute gets worse.
