Looking for a new watch, but one that doesn't take batteries. Not Solar, but the wind-up kind.

Does anybody make a frkn watch like this anymore?

Sure. How much are you willing to spend?

Don't want to get rediculous about it, but I'd go up to 250-300 or so.
Looking specifically for an every day, feild type watch. Something I don't have to take off while out in the woods, on quads etc.

Why wouldn't you go with kinetic instead of a winder?

What's wrong with solar? I love my Citizen Eco-Drive. Love. it.

I have a Seiko Kinetic that I wore everyday for about 13 years that has held up very well.  It's had some lickings and keeps on ticking.  It's very accurate as well.

Maratac Pilot Automatic

Link.

I love mine and it keeps time very well, but it has taken on a little bit of moisture under the crystal.  I'll have to see what countycomm has to say about that.

Now how about one at the other end of the spectrum, say under $100? Something I wouldn't be afraid to wear while running a chainsaw, or hammer drill?

Seiko has quite a few available for less than $100.

Search Google Shopping for "Seiko 5 automatic"

Self winding.  No idea on cost, it was a birthday present.  It's pretty though.
