Thanks. Honestly; mostly frisbees. I dont hunt much waterfowl anymore. Back in WI, I had my lab trained pretty weel, and we spent alot of time going after ruffled grouse and pheasant. |

Labs are beautiful dogs. We had 2 when I was growing up. He is a great looking pup. |

I was in Nashville this weekend and I saw a guy walking his dog-but actually the guy had a rope and the dog held it in it's mouth as they walked along, so it looked like the dog was on a leash. Amazing.
Training dogs has been one of my failures-I think they see when I reprimand them that I feel worse than them, good thing I don't have kids. |

There is a female Blk Lab (which I am quite fond of) at the range I shoot at named Honey Bear so this was sort of a spin off of that name. Plus, yes, I am a fan of S&H. He hasn't seen a single S&H re-run yet [:(]. Have to admit the dog is much better looking than Antonio Fargas. [:)] |

Good looking dog! Thanks for posting the pics. Can't get enough of people posting pictures of their guns or their dogs. Your puppy seems to be as good at posing as my two beasts. Maybe one of these days I'll get off my ass and get a scanner so I post pictures of my "evil" pit bulls.
Anyway, good luck with the training. Puppies are so much fun, but they can also be a pain at times. Always worth it though. |

I want a dog like that. Chew a burglers ass off an sling lead at em as they run screaming across the yard, meanwhile your still in bed with morning wood.

Nice lab Boom !!! I just brought another yellow lab home to keep my older lab company. He's 12 years old and it sure will be a sad day when he's gone so I thought I would get another so it's not so tough on the kids when the time comes.

I had a lab, but it died a few years back, i put my chow that i had for 14 years down a few months ago ( he couldnt walk any more ).
The pup looks good, train him well. |

Wow! My first dog was a black lab-mix named...You guessed it "Huggy Bear"!

Great looking puppy. Makes me want to go out and get another dawg. I just put my Irish Setter down a couple of weeks ago and man Is this house quiet.

I too grew up with a couple of great black labs, I'd like to get one and raise it from a pup.
how old should a pup be before leaving it by itself while I'm at work? |
