Praise The Lord GOD!
I have finally finished moving out of the apartment complex that I have resided in for the past year. The new building in which I live has a BETTER secured entrance, almost NO GHETTO PEOPLE living there, and to my knowledge, has NO DRUG DEALERS.
This way there are fewer bums, crackheads & crack-whores living there, and I no longer have to call the police for domestic disputes all the time!
My keys have been turned in, and I am now happy to say that I will never voluntarily enter that building, and most likely never enter that neighborhood until things improve IMMENSELY!
This has made me very happy to be completely out of the very obvious dangers associated with such a horrible residential area. However, I have learned that my "Paranoia" (according to friends/family) is merely preparedness, and I will NEVER lower my guard, as I am always on edge after that place.
I just hope that someday I will never (again, as I already have several times) have to use my training, and that I will never again have to fight for my life/safety. If any of you have never been mugged at knife-point, or chased by criminals (even on ice in the winter), then I say CONGRATULATIONS! I hope you never experience such a thing! It is truly frightening to have bums attempt to assault you while you're taking out your garbage at night, or fights breaking out in your hallway twice a month.
I sincerely am happy to be out of the ghetto, and into a much more PEACEFUL, and RITZY area of the Twin Cities. There is less crime but I will ALWAYS be weary/watching.
Perhaps I will change my nickname? Maybe? Maybe not... I don't know.
A sincere thanks to all of you for your advice on how to take MORE responsibility in my own safety at all times.
