LOL.

Reminds me of a CALFEX we had 30 yrs ago when the 4.2's were firing over our tanks.  ONE just didn't "sound" right and My TC
(Grizzled old Nam Vet) said..."Oh shit! Short round!".  It landed about 100mtrs to our front....

I assume that they aren't given that a explosive round would have to be individually registered as a DD. It would be much cheaper to fire "solid shot" or whatever they call inert rounds.

I just noticed in the comments section below the video he says it's a solid steel mortar shell.
