A 1970 1/2 SS/RS Camaro, would've been all original if the previous owners had rebuilt the drivetrain instead of replacing it outright. Lookin on the bright side it left me open to put whatever I wanted in it. It currently houses a hybrid 383 with Keith Black hypereutectic pistons, Dart S/R torquer cylinder heads, split duration cam blah blah blah....runs pretty good. Have owned since 1982.

1964 Oldsmobile Jetstar I, highest compression engine Detroit ever made, 394 cubic inches / 390 horses. Bucket seats, w/ console shifter only automatic transmission I ever saw without a torque-converter, (you never seen so many clutches in your life as came in that SlimJim tranny).

Wish I never gotten rid of it as there weren't many made.

4 months later it was racing down the streets in primer grey..( never did get to paint it[:(] ) and yes it had a system that could be felt from 2 1/2 blocks away...[;)]

At 18 while I was enjoying my vist to  MCRD..[:)]
Dad wrote to me to let me know that my car had been stolen...
[pissed][heavy]

My first car, purchased new, was a '67 Camaro RS.  It was maroon with a black vinyl top, 327 ci engine, four speed transmission and four barrel carb.  Like ilikelegs, I was lucky to get 8 mpg.  I'm not sure how I survived all the street and country road racing I did in that car.

Subsequent cars:

'74 Gran Torino
'78 Olds Cutlass
'84 Peugeot 505
'96 Ford Ranger

Currently own:
2001 BMW 325ci
2001 Ford F150

My first car was a 1964 Plymouth Valiant.  Turquoise in color...yes, as ugly as it sounds.  But it got me to work and home again.  That was the car my Dad handed down to me when I got my license.

When I graduated from high school, I bought a 1969 Camaro.  Now that was a ride!  No a/c, but I didn't really care.

The rest are too numerous to mention or even remember, but my favorite was a 68 Corvette with t-top.  It was beautiful.  I still miss that car.  [>(]

I've been driving since 1978 and have only owned 3 cars in my life.

#1 1976 Toyota Corolla Wagon - Geek mobile. Crapped out in 1987. I was the 2nd owner.
#2 1960 Ford Econoline Van - POS weekend mobile.
#3 1987 Nissan 2x4 truck - Still running strong after 185k miles. In fact, still has the stock clutch!

I owned the van for only a year. It was a weekend car. So, in reality, I've only owned two main cars in 24 years.

I tend to buy and hold, I guess.

My first car was a brand new 1985, red Honda Accord hatchback. It was a belated 18th birthday gift from my parents. My parents gave me a choice of having either giving me an 18th birthday party (a.k.a. the debutante) or giving me a brand new car as their birthday gift to me. FORGET THE STUPID DEBUTANTE AND GIVE ME THE BRAND NEW CAR!

My first car was a 1970 Buick LeSabre, 350 cid, 4 bbl, auto. tranny. Wasn't fast, but it was fun. Burned all the rubber off the new rear tires in the first week I had it.[:)] Backed out in front of a Caddie doing about 50 mph (the Caddie was doing 50, not me) after I had the Buick about three months.
My next car was an Opel Kadett station wagon. Great beach car. Sold it. Picked up a 1970 Buick Wildcat. 455 cid., dual quads, headers, posi. Fun car. Went fast straight, just didn't turn or stop worth a damn.
