Are we as a country going to far with the hunt for terrorist?

What can we possibly hope to gain that would offset the tremendous expenditure of taxpayers money?

For example,(Not that it is related to the hunt for terrorist)
Have we stopped the drug trade?
Have we stopped crime?
The answer is no.

Will we ever stop crime, terrorist, or drugs?
No.

I am not saying we should abandon fighting drugs, or crime, or even terrorism. I do think we have stepped over the line with words and actions of our government against foreign nations. The only thing we are accomplishing is exposing our troops to hostile fire, and pissing off everyone we come in contact with.

By themselves, nations like Somali, Libya, Iraq are not much of a threat but together we could end up with a whole new problem.

Lets see who have we pissed off lately..
Somali
Libya
Afghanistan
Pakistan
Palestine
Cuba
N.Korea

Hell pretty much everyone except the European union.

I just can't see spending billions of dollars to "Hunt" for an unknown enemy.

Not to mention the future terrorist we are creating by bombing their countries. If they weren't pissed at America before, they are now, or will be soon.

The problems with the hunting of terrorists in other countries seems distant compared to this governments ability to hunt for terrorists within it's own borders.

Check out your local (anti-)"Patriots Act" and what it has done to those who would question, much less get in the face of, authority.

Bush is a little lost when it comes to hunting those responsible for 9-11.   He's completely clueless concerning the constitution and has done more against Americans than pappy did when he signed the assault weapons ban.

Just so we're all up to speed.... http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?id=114332
