if you research a bit and look into Mutually assured economic destruction you will see where these "hot" topics may well effect you and your loved ones.
what is happening in the ME, Washington, Greece, Turkey, France and England are going to effect you in ways you cant imagine.. the American People have been napping for 50 years and they need to wake up and smell the coffee... Chef

I care about very little...to each their own.
I have plenty of opinions, but I dont feel the need to discuss or defend them. As long as people dont cross me, I dont pay them much mind. For all the things I see people getting bent out of shape about, I dont see many folks simply celebrate the fact that they woke up breathing air this morning. (which is really my only goal every night when I fall asleep) |

90% of the non gun stuff in Gd I never discuss with anyone. I have never had a discussion about abortion since maybe high school. I couldn't tell you what 99% of the people I know think about what kinds of abortion should be legal. Lots of things get argued about here because they are among the few things here people consistently disagree on so there is something to talk about.
In person most of my discussions with people from the site are "Did you see this new widget?" "Yes I saw that new widget and bought one." "Wow can I see it?" "Yes you can see it." "That would be awesome." "It is an awesome widget." "Hey I bought a new truck." "What happened to the old one?" "Oh the transmission went and it had a way too many miles..." blah blah blah. People who say things like "they never agree with me" would in reality probably be happier being stuck sitting next to me on a cross country plane flight than 99.999% of the rest of the people in the country.
