Pakistan has doubled its nuclear weapons stockpile over the past several years, increasing its arsenal to more than 100 deployed weapons, according to a published report.

As a result, Pakistan has now edged ahead of India, its nuclear-armed rival, The Washington Post reported late Sunday, citing non-government analysts. India is estimated to have 60 to 100 weapons.

Only four years ago the Pakistani nuclear arsenal was estimated at 30 to 60 weapons.

Pakistan has steadily expanded its nuclear arsenal since President Obama came to office, and that it is building the capability to surge ahead in the production of nuclear-weapons material, putting it on a path to overtake Britain as the world’s fifth largest nuclear weapons power.

Bush had the opportunity to take the engineer who stole nuclear secrets and was grandfather of Pakistan's nuclear program into custody, but he didn't because he needed support for the invasion of Iraq and continuing operations in Afganistan. Well we all know how helpful the Paki's were.

You are delusional if you think the Pakistanis were EVER going to give A.Q. Khan to the US.  The guy is a national hero.  It would have been like us giving Werner Von Braun to the Soviets in 1971 to face war crimes charges in the USSR.  In other words, it was never going to happen.
