Well, our son came in 9th overall in the U.S. Army Best Ranger Competition.  He blew the ACL in his left knee on the second night so it was pretty tough for him to hobble around the rest of the competition.  He was in incredible pain but he was determined to cross the finish line on his own.  What a moment.  The crowd went wild as he and his team mate came jogging down the last few hundred feet to the finish.  I don't think there was a dry eye in the crowd.  These men have to be the bravest soldiers in the military.  Out of 47 teams starting, 12 finished.  Our hats are off to each and every one of the competitors.

For anyone interested, OLNTV will be airing the competition on May 13, 20 and 27 and ESPN will be airing on July 7 through the end of the month.  It's worth a look.
