Maryland law says a person can use deadly force if he or she has a reasonable belief that his or her life is in imminent danger, and if that person uses no more force than reasonably necessary.

This sounds like the media term "co-conspirator"

The defense fund's website says that the trial is in July; I did a Nexis search and an article in March indicated that the businessmen were still facing charges.  So it doesn't look like the charges were dropped.
