What a dorked up poll! You put Ford and Chevy in there, but not Dodge/Chrylser/Jeep?? WTF?
|
|
None! My van needs much more in repairs than it is worth, so fixing it just isn't going to happen. I've been walking and bumming rides since September, and it is getting old. In a couple of months, I'll have a bill from the hospital paid-off, then we can afford a car. A Toyota Echo is what I think I'm going to buy. It will be my first car with working air that I've had in about 15 years. I'm looking forward to it.z

I drive a white 2000 GMC Sierra 1500 SL. It has:
- 4.3L Vortec V6, 205(?) HP - fine for me - 2WD, A/T, A/C - standard cab - short bed - factory cast alloy wheels - black Weatherguard alloy toolbox (*nice*!) - Blaupunkt Nevada AM/FM/CD (very good) - heavy-duty bed mat Pretty nice truck, *great* ride (esp after I just put Bilstein shocks on front along with the new brake job - Napa top-line pads). Seating is VERY comfortable. Trucks are unfortunately built lighter than they used to be. Wish my interior had more metal, less plastic - but they're all going that way. Bill Wiese San Mateo, CA |

I drive a 92 Jeep Cherokee XJ Laredo. It now has 187K miles on it, damn thing refuses to die! I don't baby it and I could treat it alot better but it's one sold machine and never lets me down.
The wife drives a 2000 Astro LT AWD. These things are the SUV of mini-vans. I must confess I did not like it at first but it's one solid vehicle and with AWD it kicks ass in the snow and can even do light off roading. It fully loaded with leather seats and everything and is the most cofortable road trip car I've ever had. It also has the towing package and and can pull 5300lbs. Not to shabby for a family car.
