Quoted:ever try the "hot fried chicken and bourbon", from a justified episode? even banqet and hot sauce, washed down with CC is pretty dam great imo.
"CC" - as in Canadian Club? Canadian Club
isn't bourbon.
CC is Canadian whisky. Which is distilled, aged and bottled in Canada. It is a blend and contains a high percentage of rye (in Canada it can be sold as "rye whisky").
Bourbon is a type of corn (corn, not rye) whiskey. It was originally distilled in Bourbon County, Kentucky. We have no domain laws in the US, so you can distill "bourbon-style" whiskey anywhere, but it would have to be corn whiskey and not rye whisky.
