BTT, b/c I think those arguing about this need a clearer picture of what happened at Camp David.  Also, that 1st para is a bit misleading, it's not just about slamming Arafat.  (I know some of you will be disappointed).

It sure is too bad about those poor Pali's...

They HAD their chance for peace,  yet were sold down the road by their leader for some "pie-in-the-sky" notion of a Palistinian "kingdom".

If they had accepted the Camp David offer, it would have given them a foothold from which they might have begun to prosper,  but they went for the "all-or-nothing" route that so many half-assed peoples do.

Oh well... [rolleyes]
